That’s right! We’ve still got new arrivals coming in from the orders we placed at the National Stationery Show in May! It was like Christmas all over again this afternoon when i got to unwrap a bundle of incredible cards from Twig & Fig. These cards are foil stamped on wood veneer- which, if I do say so myself, is probably one of the coolest things i’ve ever seen. I highly encourage all you locals to stop in and check ‘em out! And while you’re here let us know what you think of our great new paint colors. The whole place is getting a facelift for it’s 16th birthday and even though we’re still very much a construstion zone, it’s all coming together quite nicely! For those of you unlucky enough to be too far away for a quick visit, keep your eye out- more pictures are on their way!

after months of hard work i decided that we needed a little fun! here is where i wish we got that bowling ally finished. which by the way we are installing this summer. so if your in the neighborhood give us a call and we will lay down the lanes! ok back to the story, last friday i gave all of us a day of “creative procrastination” . we got out the wire o machine, button maker, xacto knives, glue, chipboard, old money, paper, stock certificates, books and had some fun. we made some journals, buttons and books, some for us and some to sell. when the day was over it was such a great feeling to do something different so i have decided that one day a month will be “creative procrastination” day!

also if your in the neighborhood do stop by! the stuff from the national stationery show is starting to arrive! so many cards we do not even have enough place to display them. also begining mid june we will be open on saturdays from 10am to 3 pm! we hope to see you then.

well it is time to start thinking about designing a baby announcement. i got to see a picture of our new little one on valentine’s day. because of that i told my wife we should name him/her valentine. she does not like that idea, i thought it was cute. i guess we will wait and see. we have 6 months to think about it and to design an announcement. anybody have a great idea? i thought about having my soon to be 5 year old daughter draw a picture of daddy, mommy, herself and then her new little sister/brother and having her announce it to the world. of course is sounds a lot better in my head, hard to explain. i guess we shall see.
