what a day

this is what last week was like! how crazy it has been. 4 weeks out, 6 people making paper and we still can not get ahead! we are trying!  im sorry but, our paper is the best!(not to boast) we are getting it as fast as we can, handmade made an guarantied to to grow!so give us a call 402.742.5415

And with one of the hottest weekends so far, wouldn’t you know that the air conditioner would go out on Friday! Not only is the AC out at my third floor apartment, but as I rode my bike to work this morning I daydreamed of entering a nice cool workplace after sweating in my sleep all weekend only to have the rude awakening of the repair man being late (and he’s still not even here!)

It’s times like this when I think about my job in comparison to others and I say to myself “Man am I glad that I work here with a hose and cool water all day!”  it’s like being payed to play in the sprinklers!

 Now the cool water is a relief at the moment… I’ll let you know how I feel about it come January!

so this past saturday we held a paper sale. handmade paper for $0.25 up to $2.50 a sheet. the sheet sizes were 4×6 up to 19×25. it was crazy, and a lot of fun as well! thank you everybody for coming out. we will definitely be doing it again. we still have several thundered sheets we need to get rid of. so stay tuned!

there is so much going on around the mill as far as plantable paper goes. we have been producing plantable paper for so many companies over the last few months that we forgot what it was like to make paper without seeds. and a lot of which we cant even tell you about just yet!

we are very excited to have a new intern that started with us, her name is brizida, and she is, as my daughter says “a rock star designer”! with the help of brizida we will be working up some really cool designs for our line of plantable paper products. some of which will include plantable wine/bottle tags, plantable coasters, plantable bags, plantable pillow boxes, plantable bookmarks and anything else you can dream up. we will also be publishing our wholesale/bulk price list on our web site in the next few weeks. if you can not wait please call us at 402.742.5415.
